Schuilklip Game Farm

Schuilklip Game Farm between Newcastle in Natal and Volksrust offers excellent family breakaways and wildlife experiences in rustic and beautiful nature. The farm nestles in gold and green grasslands and offers a wide range of various game species – Gemsbuck, Waterbuck, Eland, Zebras, Black Wildebeest, Blesbuck, Oribi, Red Hartebeest, Springbuck, Impala, Reedbuck, Mountain Reedbuck, Warthog and Ostriches.

The camp has 4 comfortable chalets with its own lapa where you can braai and relax. Each chalet has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate 6 people. One King size bed in the 1st room and four three quarter beds in the 2nd and 3rd room. Open plan lounge, kitchen and dining room area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge freezer, mini stove, hotplate and microwave oven. One bathroom with a shower. Undercover parking for your vehicle.

A daily cleaning service is provided except on Sundays and public holidays. Breakfast and dinner is available on request. Linen and bath towels will be provided.

We are only 26km from Newcastle with all it's shopping centers and restaurants. Come, enjoy and experience various South-African wildlife species, and find out just how close you can get to wild animals.

Activities
Game viewing – Game drives available on request. Guests will spot various game species on the drive to the chalet. Game viewing on farm – also on foot.

Hunting - Controlled biltong and trophy hunting at a certain rate. The hunter will be accompanied by a PH or an outstanding guide who will lead you to within shooting range of the best trophy animals.

Bird watching - Birding on the farm along river, at dams and on 1960 hectares of wild grasslands.

Fishing – Fishing in dams. Stocked with bass – only catch and release is allowed – except if arranged otherwise.
